So if you’ve been to South Plains Leather Fest in the last few years, you’ve probably crossed paths with the sassy and sexy Lolita Wolf, who presents on a whoooole lot of different topics (too many to name here, but check her site for descriptions). I’ve met her a few times- once in Portland, and a couple of times in Dallas. She probably remembers me best as the crotch that supported Lamalani’s boot, but other than that, I’m juuuust not on her radar. Yet.
Lolita blogs at www.LeatherYenta.com, and she has a list on her blog called “100 Divas.” Her goal is to name and spank 100 Divas (of any gender, orientation, or identity). Although it’s been a secret wish for a while, I am hereby openly announcing to the universe MY goal to make it on her list and be spanked!

I have deep reservations and criticisms about this work and would love to corner the author sometime for a long talk and caffeine fueled debate over 21st century sex work, but I’ll spare both you and her.

The writer, a Sarah Lawrence grad and teacher up at SUNY Purchase, spent four years as a professional dominatrix while working on her undergraduate degree. This book tells the story. I may not dig everything here and cringe a little during her interviews (through no fault of the writer’s own, I should add), but I am 100% percent behind people in stigmatized work, especially sex work, getting their stories out there. Or so says this new French anti-smoking campaign from the Association for Nonsmokers’ Rights- the tagline reads “Smoking means being a slave to tobacco”
The hand on the back of the head is a really nice touch, you have to admit. But I think this campaign might backfire spectacularly, what with how common submission fantasies are, especially among the orally fixiated.
Speaking of oral, this isn’t the first time smoking and blowjobs have collided
But it leaves me wondering, if this group is about the rights of nonsmokers, why would they care what goes on between consenting adult smokers and horny corporations?

This questionnaire will be the foundation for the first report on the State of Sexual Freedom in America today. If you already responded to the questionnaire, and many of you have, thank you! If not, we would really value your opinions!
As I shared with you in the first email, the Woodhull Freedom Foundation plans to publish regular reports on the sexual freedom movement, designed to help identify the social changes taking place, or that must take place for progress to be made, on the diverse issues on which we work. We are particularly interested in recognizing opportunities for already-established sexual freedom issue groups to work together.
We would like to know what you think are the most pressing sexual freedom issues this country is facing and so we are asking for a bit of your time and a lot of your knowledge and expertise.
We will treat your responses as confidential, unless you specifically give us permission to share your comments. To protect the confidentiality of our participants, we will download the responses each day and they will be taken completely offline. With that assurance, we are also asking that you provide your contact information on the survey.
